A delightful mix of savory beef and crisp broccoli in a rich sauce, perfect for a comforting family dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef flank steak, sliced thinly
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice for serving

Instructions

  1. Whisk the soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and water together until smooth.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear the sliced beef in a single layer until browned, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Stir-fry the minced garlic and broccoli florets until the broccoli is tender, about 4-5 minutes.
  5. Combine the beef back into the pan and pour in the sauce mixture, stirring until well-coated.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve hot over cooked rice.

Notes

Marinate beef for deeper flavor and consider adding red pepper flakes for spice.
