A simple yet delicious grilled flank steak marinated to perfection, making it the perfect centerpiece for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 flank steak (about 2 pounds)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary or thyme (optional)

Instructions

  1. Whisk together olive oil, minced garlic, soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, black pepper, salt, and your choice of fresh herbs.
  2. Place the flank steak in a resealable bag and pour the marinade over it.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Take the flank steak out of the marinade and discard the remaining marinade.
  5. Grill the flank steak for about 5-7 minutes on each side.
  6. Remove the steak from the heat and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  7. Slice the steak against the grain into thin strips.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
