Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz pasta
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup pesto sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parmesan cheese for serving
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Boil the pasta according to the package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté the garlic in a large skillet with olive oil over medium heat for 1 minute.
  3. Cook the shrimp in the skillet, seasoning with salt and pepper, until they’re pink and opaque, about 3-5 minutes.
  4. Combine in the skillet with the pesto sauce and add the cooked pasta, tossing to mix well.
  5. Garnish with freshly grated Parmesan cheese and basil leaves before serving hot.

Notes

For best results, avoid overcooking the pasta and consider using homemade pesto. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for 3-4 days.
