A delicious Teriyaki Salmon recipe that brings the warmth of home and the flavors of Japan to your table.

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons mirin
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • Green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, mirin, garlic, and ginger until well combined.
  2. Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Allow to marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat your grill or a skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Cook the salmon for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Baste with the marinade occasionally.
  5. Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving.
